The network of partners

AWIS is currently at a starting phase. It relies on 13 partners in 9 countries, and whose areas of operations cover 33 countries

Who can join AWIS?

You can become an AWIS focal point, if you are a regional, national or sub-national and closely linked to grass-root organizations (CBOs, NGOs, resource and information centers...). An AWIS’ focal point contributes to feeding the AWIS portal, participates in the development of products of common interest and is a partner and not a service provider.

Who implements AWIS ?

A group of Institutions from North and South: The Organization pour la Mise en Valeur du fleuve Senegal (OMVS) as Permanent Technical Secretariat of ANBO and Project Coordinator, Regional Center for Low cost Drinking Water and Sanitation (CREPA ), the Programme Solidarité Eau (pS-Eau), the International Office for Water (OIEau) and Water Engineering and Development Center (WEDC).

AWIS finacing organizationsPre-AWIS (preparatory phase of AWIS) is an initiative funded by the ACP-EU European Commission, the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Department Fund for International Development (DFID, UK).
