Requested to make comments on the draft constitution in Zambia

We have been requested to make comments on the draft constitution in Zambia. In the current draft, the social, economic and cultural rights, that include the right to water and sanitation was removed.  this request has come at a time when we held the National Dialogue on the right to water and sanitation in Zambia. the meeting was attended by among others, the Deputy Minister of Local Government and Housing, the ministry that is responsible for water and sanitation in Zambia.
 
You can access the draft constitution at; www.znbc.co.zm  You can help by reading and sending your comments to us. this is an opportunity for us to input. we have 30 days in which to submit our comments together with a full report and recommendations from the National Dialogue to the National Costitution Conference(NCC) and Ministry of Justice.
